32. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY AIR 105 GRANT Approve an Agreement between the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Maricopa County through the Air Quality Department, in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,118,456. This Agreement is funded by a grant from the US through the EPA, Award ID#: A-00905213-0. The purpose of this Agreement is to continue support for activities related to improved air quality. This Agreement is effective from October 1, 2012 until September 30, 2013. Authorize the Air Quality Director or Deputy Director to sign all documents related to these grant funds. The grant allows a 26% rate for indirect costs, or up to $230,792 which may be incurred by the Air Quality Department or Maricopa County for the administration of this grant. The Maricopa County Department of Finance has calculated the Air Quality Department’s composite indirect cost rate at 26%, or $230,792. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $230,792; the non-recoverable indirect cost is $0. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law.
