INTERGOVERNMENTAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DEER VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT #97 FOR FEDERAL DIESEL EMISSIONS REDUCTION ACT (DERA) STATE CLEAN DIESEL GRANT PROGRAM Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Intergovernmental Services Agreement between the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) and the Deer Valley Unified School District #97 for MCAQD to provide up to $149,636 in federal DERA sub-award funding to Deer Valley Unified School District #97 for the replacement of four diesel powered school buses. This Agreement will provide up to $149,636 in funds to support the State Clean Diesel Program and benefit air quality by replacing four 2001 model year diesel school buses with four new 2019 ultra-low sulfur diesel buses. Matching funds of 75% will be provided by Deer Valley Unified School District #97. The program is consistent with Maricopa County Air Quality Department’s (MCAQD) mission “to provide clean air to Maricopa County residents and visitors so they can live, work, and play in a healthy environment.” (C-85-19-009-M-00)
