25. MOU WITH TURBINE ALLOYS, LLC FOR FEDERAL DIESEL EMISSIONS REDUCTION ACT STATE CLEAN DIESEL GRANT PROGRAM Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) and Turbine Alloys, LLC for MCAQD to provide up to $49,580 in federal Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) sub-award funding to Turbine Alloys for the replacement of two legacy diesel powered heavy-duty trucks. This MOU will provide up to $49,580 in funds to support the State Clean Diesel Program and benefit air quality by replacing one 2004 and one 2006 model year heavy-duty diesel trucks with two new 2018 cleaner diesel burning trucks. Matching funds of 75% will be provided by Turbine Alloys. The program is consistent with Maricopa County Air Quality Department’s (MCAQD) mission “to provide clean air to Maricopa County residents and visitors so they can live, work, and play in a healthy environment.” (C-85-19-010-M-00)
