30. IGA WITH CARTWRIGHT SCHOOL DISTRICT #83 Approve an Intergovernmental Services Agreement (IGA) between the Maricopa County Air Quality Department (MCAQD) and the Cartwright School District #83 for MCAQD to provide up to $198,630 in federal DIESEL EMISSIONS REDUCTION ACT (DERA) sub-award funding to Cartwright School District #83 for the replacement of one diesel powered school buses. This Agreement will provide up to $198,630 in funds to support the State Clean Diesel Program and benefit air quality by replacing one 2007 model year diesel school buses with one new zero emissions fully electric school bus. Matching funds of 55% will be provided by Cartwright School District #83. The program is consistent with Maricopa County Air Quality Department’s (MCAQD) mission “to provide clean air to Maricopa County residents and visitors so they can live, work, and play in a healthy environment.” This project is located in District 5.
