57. RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO FACILITATE THE MOWING DOWN POLLUTION PROGRAM Approve resolution delegating authority to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department Director to administer and facilitate the Mowing Down Pollution Program, including authority to make programmatic and administrative decisions necessary for efficient program operations, consistent with applicable funding requirements and A.R.S. Section 49-474.02. The Mowing Down Pollution Program is a voluntary lawn and garden equipment exchange program funded by Maricopa County and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. The program provides monetary vouchers toward the purchase of lower-emission lawn and garden equipment after participants recycle eligible, working gasoline-powered equipment. (C-85-27-016-X-00)
