64. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR LEAD BASED HAZARD REDUCTION PROGRAM Approve Amendment No.1 to the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health, which extends the term of the contract from December 31, 2010 to December 31, 2011. The contract period is January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2011. Also approve the addition of Item 42 to Part A of the Contract, General Provisions. Item 42 adds language regarding the Contractor Worker Background Screening process, Materiality of Background Screening Requirements; Indemnity, and Continuing Duty; Audit. This IGA provides education, blood lead testing of children and case management as part of the Lead Based Paint Hazard Reduction Program. All other terms and conditions of the original contract shall remain in full force and effect. (C-86-09-056-3-01)
