60. IGA WITH CITY OF PHOENIX FOR AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT GRANT FUNDING FOR THE LEAD BASED PAINT HAZARD REDUCTION PROGRAM Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health providing funding through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 in the amount of $312,347 for education, blood testing of children and case management for the Lead Based Paint Hazard Reduction Program. The term of the IGA is from April 15, 2009 through April 14, 2012. The Maricopa County Department of Public Health indirect rate for FY 2008-09 is 18%. The grant allows for full indirect; therefore, indirect costs are estimated at $47,646. There is a match requirement which will be met through in-kind contributions totaling $48,026 from Maricopa County Department of Public Health staff members. Funding for this agreement is provided by the City of Phoenix, and does not affect the County general fund. (C-86-10-006-3-00)
