30. IGA WITH PENDERGAST SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL-BASED TOBACCO USE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION SERVICES Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Pendergast School District and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health to provide school-based tobacco use prevention and education services for the Maricopa County Department of Public Health. Funding is for a not-to-exceed amount of $5,000 for budget period beginning July 1, 2009 through May 1, 2010. Funding for this agreement is provided by the Tobacco Education/Prevention Grant from ADHS and will not increase the County general fund budget. (C-86-10-087-3-00)

104. AMENDMENT TO IGA WITH PENDERGAST SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR SCHOOL-BASED TOBACCO USE PREVENTION AND EDUCATION SERVICES Approve Amendment No. 2 to Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Pendergast School District and Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health to increase the contract by $5,000 to provide school-based tobacco use prevention and education services for contract period ending May 1, 2012. This amendment brings the IGA to a new not-to-exceed aggregate amount of $15,000 for the contract term July 1, 2009 through May 1, 2012. Funds for this IGA are provided by the Tobacco Education Prevention Grant from Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and will not affect the County’s general fund. (C-86-10-087-3-02)
