30. GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE ARIZONA PARENTS COMMISSION ON DRUG EDUCATION AND PREVENTION GRANT PROGRAM Approve the grant application RFGA PC-DSG-10-1181-00 to the Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families (GOCYF), Division for Substance Abuse Policy by Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide the Arizona Parents Commission on Drug Education and Prevention Grant Program. If awarded, the funding amount will not exceed $200,000 for grant contract term beginning from April 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. Funding amount is tentative pending the approved grant award upon acceptance by the grantor. This grant deviates from County policy A2505 and does not allow for full indirect cost reimbursement, but a maximum of 10% indirect cost reimbursement. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY 2009-10 at 19.5% is $35,455; therefore, if awarded, $18,182 is allowable and $17,273 is unallowable. (C-86-10-109-G-00)
