57. GRANTEE AGREEMENT FOR FIRST THINGS FIRST - CHILD CARE HEALTH CONSULTANTS Approve the Grantee Agreement from Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board, First Things First (GRA-RC012-11-0225-01) to Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health for Child Care Health Consultants who will conduct visits to child care center sites within the North Phoenix Regional Partnership Council Boundaries. The grant award provides funding in the amount of $112,668 for the budget term beginning November 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011. This grant deviates from County policy A2505 and does not allow for full indirect cost reimbursement, but a maximum of 10% indirect cost reimbursement. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY 2010-11 is 17%; therefore $10,243 is allowable and $7,169 is unallowable. Funding for this grant will be provided by First Things First and will not affect the County general fund. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-11-035-3-00)

91. AMENDMENT TO GRANTEE AGREEMENT FOR FIRST THINGS FIRST - CHILD CARE HEALTH CONSULTANTS Approve Amendment 1 to the Grantee Agreement from Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board, First Things First (GRA-RC012-11-0225-01) to Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health to extend the expiration date to June 30,2012 and to increase the agreement by $167,598 for the budget period July 1, 2011 to June 30,2012, for a new not-to-exceed aggregate total of $280,266 for the Contract term November 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012. All other terms and conditions remain in full effect The Department of Public Health FY 2011-12 indirect rate is 16.7%, Grant indirect costs are reimbursed at a rate of 10%. Therefore $15,236 is allowable and $10,208 is unallowable. Funding for this grant will be provided by First Things First and will not affect the County general fund. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-11-035-3-01)
