48. AMENDMENT TO INTERN CLINICAL TRAINING AGREEMENT WITH NORTHERN ARIZONA HEALTHCARE FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS DIETETIC INTERNSHIP Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Intern Clinical Training Agreement with Northern Arizona Healthcare to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be extended from May 1, 2016 through April 30, 2021. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with Northern Arizona Healthcare will allow dietetic interns to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by NAH registered dietitians at NAH facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial, and does not affect the County general fund.
