55. ONE-TIME ADDITION OF EQUIPMENT TO PUBLIC HEALTH FLEET Approve a one-time addition to the Department of Public Health fleet of one van. The total estimated amount is $34,000. The Office of Family Health Van will be used to transport teen participants to and from required activities such as community service projects and field trips. It will also be used to transport supplies to the 14 different sites from South Phoenix to Maryvale and North Phoenix. Capital purchase freeze exemption approved on June 17, 2010 by OMB. The grantor authorized the outright purchase of this capital purchase in FY 12 by redirection of budget from the Contracting area to the Operations section. This is a one-time addition to the Public Health Fleet. This capital purchases are 75% funded by a grant from DHHS. This capital purchases are 25% funded by a grant from ADHS. The van will need to be periodically maintained by the Fleet division for general up keep. (C-86-12-017-V-00)
