77. AMENDMENT TO GRANT AWARD WITH ARIZONA EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTH BOARD, FIRST THINGS FIRST, FOR INJURY PREVENTION – SAFETY, NUTRITION, ACTIVITY & CARE FOR KIDS Approve the Grantee Renewal Agreement No. 1 to Grant Award (GRA-MULTI-13-0516-01-Y2) between Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (AECDHB), First Things First (FTF) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide funding for Injury Prevention, Safety, Nutrition, Activity & Care for kids (SNACK) in the Northwest and Southwest Maricopa County Regions. The term of the agreement is effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. The funding amount not-to-exceed $850,000. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and according to the original award documents, clarification documents and renewal submission documents. This Grant deviates from County Policy A2505 and does not allow for full indirect cost reimbursement, but a maximum of 10% indirect cost reimbursement as delegated in the Grant Agreement. MCDPH indirect rate for FY2013-2014 is 15%. The full indirect costs are estimated at $115,909 of which $77,273 is recoverable and $38,636 is unrecoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. Funding for this grant will be provided by First Things First and will not affect the County general fund. (C-86-12-084-3-01)

RENEWAL AMENDMENT TO GRANT AWARD WITH ARIZONA EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND HEALTH BOARD, FIRST THINGS FIRST FOR INJURY PREVENTION – SAFETY,NUTRITION,ACTIVITY & CARE FOR KIDS (SNACK), NW AND SW MARICOPA COUNTY Approve the Grantee Renewal Agreement to Grant Award (GRA-MULTI-13-0516-01-Y3) between Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (AECDHB), First Things First (FTF) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide funding for Injury Prevention, Safety, Nutrition, Activity & Care for kids (SNACK) in the Northwest and Southwest Maricopa Regions. The fund not-to-exceed amount is $850,000 for contract period July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. The Grantee is responsible for all update Standards of Practice located for reference in the First Things First Grant Management system known as PGMS under Grantee Resources. All other terms and conditions remain in full force and effect. This Grant deviates from County Policy A2505 and does not allow for full indirect cost reimbursement, but a maximum of 10% indirect cost reimbursement as delegated in the Grant Agreement. MCDPH indirect rate for FY2014-2015 is 14.8%. The full indirect costs are estimated at $114,364 of which $77,273 is recoverable and $37,091 is unrecoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation.
