42. AMENDMENT TO CLINICAL TRAINING AGREEMENT WITH THE MARICOPA COUNTY SPECIAL HEALTH CARE DISTRICT DBA MARICOPA INTEGRATED HEALTH SYSTEM Approve Amendment #1 to the Clinical Training Agreement with the Maricopa County Special Health Care District dba Maricopa Integrated Health System to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be extended from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with MIHS will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by MIHS registered dietitians in MIHS facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial, and does not affect the County general fund.
