76. UNSOLICATED ANONYMOUS GRANT AWARD FOR THE HEALTHCARE FOR THE HOMELESS CLINIC Approve Unsolicited Anonymous Grant awarded to Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health, (MCDPH) Healthcare for the Homeless Clinic (HCH). This anonymous grant provides HCH with funds in the amount of $5,000 to support holiday-related expenses or activities that may serve the homeless residents of Maricopa County during the 2012 holiday season. In addition, unspent funds from this holiday season may be used for future holiday events. This action authorizes the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute all documents necessary to receive this donation and grant on behalf of the Department of Public Health. The Department of Public Health’s Indirect Rate for FY 2012-13 is 15.8%. Terms of the grant contract states that “funds should not be used to support the operating budget for the organization”; indirect expenses estimated at $790 are unrecoverable. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. Funding for this unsolicited grant is provided by an anonymous source and does not affect the County general funds. (C-86-13-034-D-00)
