84. ACCEPT IN-KIND DONATION FROM PFIZER PATIENT ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION THROUGH THE SHARING THE CARE PRODUCT REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Retroactive approval and accept the donation of pharmaceutical products from Pfizer Patient Assistance Foundation through the Sharing the Care Product Replenishment Program (Pfizer) to the Maricopa County Department of Public Health’s Healthcare for the Homeless Program. The value of these pharmaceutical products is in the amount of $157,374 throughout FY13. These pharmaceutical products are awarded in-kind, the value of which will be booked as a revenue and expenditure in the Finance System. Maricopa County Department of Public Health’s (MCDPH) indirect rate for FY2013 is 15.8%. This in-kind donation does not allow for indirect reimbursement; therefore, indirect expenses estimated at $24,865 are unrecoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This donation does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The pharmaceutical products were received and consumed in FY13. The purpose of this agenda item is to properly record and realize expenditures and the value of the revenue received in the year that it occurred. (C-86-14-001-D-00)
