33. BUSINESS ASSOCIATE AGREEMENT WITH NAVICURE Approve the Business Associate Agreement to update the HITECH and HIPAA OMNIBUS Rule between Navicure and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health, Clinical Services, Healthcare for the Homeless (HCH). This is a non-financial agreement between the parties. The term of this Agreement shall become effective upon the last signature and shall continue to be in effect until terminated by either party. The purpose of this Agreement is to allow MCDPH (HCH) to disclose certain information to Navicure, some of which may constitute Protected Health Information. Navicure and MCDPH (HCH) are both committed to complying with (a) HIPAA, (b) the HIPAA Rules and (c) applicable state law, as these statutes and regulations may be amended from time to time. This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which Protected Health Information will be handled by Navicure during the term of this Agreement. (C-86-14-028-3-00)
