65. GRANT FROM VIRGINIA G. PIPER CHARITABLE TRUST FOR OFFICE OF HEALTH, PROMOTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAM REFERRAL WEB-SITE Approve advance payment Grant between Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust (VGPCT) and Maricopa County through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Health, Promotion and Education (OHPE) Program to provide funding for support of an existing website FindHelpPhx.org, which is a bi-lingual asset map to help residents of Maricopa County find low-cost and free social and medical resources. The funding amount is not-to-exceed $50,000 for the budget period October 14, 2013 through October 14, 2014. MCDPH’s indirect rate for FY 2013-14 is 15%. The full indirect costs are estimated at $ 6,522 of which is fully recoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Amendment does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-14-054-3-00)
