50. ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS INCENTIVE PROGRAM PAYMENT Accept the Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program payment from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) in the amount of $21,250 for EHR Incentive Payments. The Maricopa County, Department of Public Health, Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) received American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) – Capital Improvement Program dollars to put into place an EHR system. The EHR process allows for a meaningful use payment to be paid to the party implementing the system. On behalf of the Maricopa County, Department of Public Health, HCH, Dr. Ron Rosenwald received the $21,250 from AHCCCS and deposited all of those funds into the HCH program account to be used for the EHR system.
