76. SETTING OF HEARING FOR TUBERCULOSIS (TB) TESTING HEALTH CARD FEES Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-251.13, set a public hearing for May 7, 2014 to solicit comments and consider adopting an increase to the TB Testing for Health Card. Upon close of the hearing, take action on the fee increases for both a Two-Step TB skin test and a TB blood test, will become effective May 7, 2014. The Department of Public Health requests a public hearing and comment regarding a fee increase for the Two-Step TB Testing for Health Card which would include two (2) TB skin tests and a Health Card. The new fee would be $130. More frequently, the public is requesting a Two-Step TB Testing and Health Card because there are public schools that are requiring students to obtain the two-step TB test. In addition, the Department of Public Health is requesting a public hearing and comment regarding a fee increase for a Health Card for blood test for either a T-Spot which is a blood test to diagnose TB or a Quantiferon (QFT) which is also a blood test to diagnose TB. The new fee would be $110. With the fee increase, the Department would include the Health Card and an individual can retrieve electronically. (C-86-14-076-M-00)
