38. DONATION AWARD FROM US DHHS, OFFICE OF MINORITY HEALTH RESOURCES CENTER TO SUPPORT A BABY BUGGY WALK IN THE PARK EVENT Approve and accept an Donation Award between the United States Department of Health and Human Service (US DHHS), Office of Minority Health Resources Center (OMHRC) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Family Health, South Phoenix Health Start (SPHS) to provide funds to support a Baby Buggy Walk in the Park event to be held on September 13, 2014. SPHS is one of fourteen (14) Healthy Start projects to receive funds from OMHRC to support national infant mortality awareness effort. The fund amount is not-to-exceed $2,500 for the September 13, 2014 event. Also, approve an increase in appropriation for both revenue and expenditures in fund 532 in the amount of $2,500. Donation funds are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitations, and therefore expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. Approval of this action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this donation through a future reconciliation. This donation will not affect the County General Fund. (C-86-15-007-3-00)
