47. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR ACCREDITATION Approve a fixed price, Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA), Contract No. (ADHS15-078134), Accreditation between the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), to provide funding to the Performance Improvement (PI) Program to development and engage in activities that will demonstrate a measurable increase in MCDPH's readiness to achieve Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation. The price sheet budget amount is $263,195.30 for the effective date October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. The term of the Contract shall not exceed five (5) years. However, if the original Contract period is for less than five (5) year, the State shall have the right, at its sole option, to renew the Contract, so long as the original Contract period together with renewal periods does not exceed five (5) years. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY 2014-2015 is 14.8%. Indirect Costs are estimated at $33,931, all of which is fully recoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Amendment does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-15-035-3-00)
