53. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR CHILDHOOD AND ADOLESCENT OBESITY PREVENTION PROGRAM Approve a retroactive Fixed-Priced Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) Contract No. (ADHS16-108068), Childhood and Adolescent Obesity Prevention Program, between Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide funding for the Office of Health Promotion and Education (OHPE) to conduct the Childhood and Adolescent Obesity Prevention Program. This initiative will target children birth through age twelve (12) by means of training and technical assistance services provided to over three-hundred (300) licensed Child Care Group Homes (CCGH). The Term of the IGA Contract begins May 1, 2015 and terminates at April 30, 2020. Additionally, the Price Sheet amount is $175,000.00. If a budget term has been completed in a multi-term contract, the parties may agree to change the amount and type of funding to accommodate new circumstances in the next budget term. Any increase and decrease in funding at the time of the new budget term shall coincide with a change in the Scope of Work or change in cost of service as approved by ADHS. The retroactive is due to late issuance of the IGA by ADHS. MCDPH’s indirect rate for FY 2015-16 is 15.8%. The full indirect costs are estimated at $23,877.00 all of which is fully recoverable. Departmental indirect rates are reestablished at the beginning of each fiscal year and the future indirect rates will be collected at the corresponding rates. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Amendment does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. Funding for this Agreement is provided by a Grant from ADHS and will not affect the County’s general fund. (C-86-16-049-3-00)
