73. EXTENSION TO PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS RESPONSE (CRISIS COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT- COVID 19) IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEA LTH SERVICES FOR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM No-cost extension to Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) Contract No. ADHS17-133194, action No. 11, between Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Pu blic Health (MCDPH), Office of Preparedness and Response (OPR). This program continues to provide funding to combat the COVID-19 pandemic with City Readiness initiatives. The purpose of this action is to approve a second 12-month No Cost Extension. The ter m and project period end dates have been extended from March 15, 2022 to March 15, 2023. The cumulative not-to-exceed amount is $2,510,698 as of this amendment. The COVID 19 award is emergency funding and it is unknown at this time whether it will be a o ne time or reoccurring funding. Match is not required nor are ongoing cash contributions. This is not a mandated function though it does provide a benefit to the citizens by strengthening the readiness of the community to prepare for, respond to, and recov er from this public health emergency. The funding was not-competitive . (C-86-16-112-3-11)
