39. AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS, ON BEHALF OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA FOR DIETETIC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Approve the Affiliation Agreement with the Arizona Board of Regents, on behalf of the University of Arizona (U of A), to continue to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2021. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with the U of A will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by UA registered dietitians in U of A facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial, and does not affect the County general fund.
