63. CONTRACT WITH COUNCIL OF STATE AND TERRITORIAL EPIDEMIOLOGISTS FOR FLU NEAR YOU DATA IMPLEMENTATION PILOT PROJECT Approve a fixed-price Contract award between the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Epidemiology (OE) to provide funding to develop and participate in a Flu Near You (FNY) Data Implementation Pilot Project. The mission of FNY is to collect and freely share participate-reported influenza like-illnesses (ILI) data that are free, open, and timely, with the general public and key stakeholders (departments of public health, other government agencies, health care providers, etc.) to increase awareness and insights about ILI activity. The period of performance is August 1, 2016 through May 30, 2017, for a not-to-exceed amount of $20,000.00. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY16-17 is 15.1%. Full indirect costs are estimated at $2,624.00 all of which is fully recoverable. Departmental indirect rates are reestablished at the beginning of each fiscal year and the future indirect rates will be collected at the corresponding rates. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Contract does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. Funding for this contract will be provided by the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. (C-86-17-005-3-00)
