EDUCATION AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH BANNER HEALTH TO PROVIDE CLINICAL NUTRITION TRAINING Approve the Education Affiliation Agreement with Banner Health to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from March 2, 2017 through March 1, 2020. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with Banner Health will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by Banner Health registered dietitians in Banner Health facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial, and does not affect the County general fund. (C-86-17-056-3-00)
