35. AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR CLINICAL NUTRITION TRAINING FOR DIETETIC INTERNSHIP Approve the Intern Affiliation Agreement (AGR2017-034) with the Arizona Department of Health Services to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with ADHS will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by ADHS registered dietitians in ADHS facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial, and does not affect the County general fund.
