IGA BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES Approve and accept a fixed-price IGA (ADHS18-175519) between ADHS and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Epidemiology to provide funding for a pilot project aimed at delivering public health strategies to the most vulnerable populations as a response to climate-sensitive hazards within the local jurisdiction. The first year (Year 1) budget is not to exceed $23,333 for the budget period ending August 31, 2017 and the following years (Year 2-5) budget is not to exceed $20,000 annually, bringing the total award amount of $103,333 for the 5-year term from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022. MCDPH’s indirect rate for FY 2017-18 is 16.6%. The full indirect costs are estimated at $14,711, of which is fully-recoverable. Departmental indirect rates are reestablished at the beginning of each fiscal year and the future indirect rates will be collected at the corresponding rates. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Amendment does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-18-008-3-00)
