39. IGA WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA BY AND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR WALK N’ ROLLERS SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAM Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) IGA 17-0006714-I between the State of Arizona by and through its Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) for the Maricopa County Walk N’ Rollers, Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Support Program. The base agreement is in effect for 36 months from the date of execution and in the not to exceed amount of $141,448.00 The Department of Public Health indirect rate for FY18 is 16.6%. The indirect costs are estimated at $20,138.00, all of which are fully recoverable. Departmental indirect rates are reestablished at the beginning of each fiscal year and the future indirect rates will be collected at the corresponding rates. This agreement includes annual general fund match funds at 5.7% totaling $8,550.00, plus a one-time ‘Project Development Administration’ (PDA) fee of $2,000.00. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Amendment does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. (C-86-18-062-3-00)
