IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAM Approve Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) ADHS18-201106 between Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH). The Price Sheet is in the not-to-exceed amount of $281,650.00 for the budget period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. The IGA term is July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023. This is a Cost Reimbursement Contract. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY2018 is 16.6%. Indirect costs are estimated at $40,098.00, all of which is fully recoverable. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105. The overall grant budget will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate this grant through a future reconciliation. Funds for this Agreement are provided by ADHS and do not affect the County’s general fund. (C-86-18-080-3-00)

RESCIND AND APPROVE REVISED IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL PROGRAM Rescind approval of item C-86-18-080-3-00, approved on 12/13/2017, and approve revised Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) ADHS19-206652 between Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) for the Tuberculosis Control Program. The Price Sheet is in the not-to-exceed amount of $281,650.00 for the budget period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. The IGA term is July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2023. Revised is the ADHS contract number only. This grant award is non-competitive and reoccurring and has been awarded to the Department for many years. It is a mandated service and there is no matching requirement. On-going contributions are not required. The Department of Public Health’s indirect rate for FY2019 is 18.9%. Indirect costs are estimated at $44,770.00, all of which is fully recoverable. There are no costs that will need to be absorbed by the MCDPH operating budget. Grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the revenues is not prohibited by the budget law. This Agreement does not alter the budget constraining expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
