28. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR 2020 BRFSS SURVEY Approve a Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Systems (BRFSS) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Epidemiology for the continued development and enhancement of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). This IGA will provide reimbursement to ADHS for the provision of additional questionnaire data in an amount not-to-exceed $103,500 for the budget period January 2, 2020 through December 31, 2020. The IGA also includes the option of renegotiating the Scope of Work and Pricing through-out the possible 5 year term of this agreement, beginning January 1, 2020 and expires December 31, 2024. The Arizona Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) telephone survey has been in existence since 1984 and is partially funded by the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This surveillance collects and summarizes the data on health-related topics as reported by Arizona adults aged 18 and over living at home. (C-86-20-029-3-00)
