76. PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH VALLEYWISE HEALTH FOR WIC SERVICES Approve a non-monetary Partnership Agreement (PA) between Valleywise Health and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), to allow Women, Infant and Children Services (WIC) to provide virtual WIC services for those referred to WIC by Valleywise Health. This agreement begins on date of last signature and ends August 31, 2022. The Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is funded by the U.S. Department of Agricultural and administered through ADHS. The program provides nutrition and breastfeeding information and support, as well as assistance with the purchase of approved foods (fruits and vegetables, whole grains, cereals, milk, yogurt, cheese, beans, peanut butter, eggs, infant foods, etc.) for income eligible pregnant, post-partum, breast feeding women, infants and children up to five years of age. Clients also receive referrals to applicable social services and community resources. The program serves over 65,000 clients per month at 16 sites across the County and distributes over $53 million annually for redemption in local grocery stores. (C-86-21-002-X-00 )
