84. IGA WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES (ADHS) – ‘HEPATITUS C MEDSIS DATA ENTRY PROJECT’ Approve an IGA (grant number yet to be assigned) and new grant funds from ADHS in the not-to-exceed amount of $32,500 for the following project deliverables: 1.1. Deliverable 1: Data Mergers between ELR (Electronic Laboratory Reporting) and MEDSIS (Medical Electronic Disease Surveillance Intelligence System) for Hepatitis C; 1.1.1. Input data into NNDSS (National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System) for CDC Submission; 1.2. Deliverable 2: Coordination with ADHS Hepatitis C Surveillance Program; 1.2.1. Participate in regular conference calls to provide feedback on processes and any barriers in hepatitis C data mergers in MEDSIS. The project period is August 1, 2020 through October 31, 2020 with an option for renewal for a maximum 5 year term. This is the first project period of this grant and it is not certain whether it will continue beyond the initial term. The award was non-competitive and there is no cash or in-kind match required. This project is not mandated so should this grant be discontinued, ongoing cash contributions should not be required. This funding is to cover the addition of on temporary staff person. Indirect cost is not allowed. The Department of Public Health indirect rate for FY2020-21 is 18.8%. Full indirect costs are estimated at $6,110, all of which is not recoverable. Program costs not allocated to the grant will be covered by the MCDPH indirect cost pool. Departmental indirect rates are reestablished at the beginning of each fiscal year and the future indirect rates will be collected at the corresponding rates. (C-86-21-023-X-00)
