44. MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH HANDS ON GREATER PHOENIX FOR AMERICORPS VISTA VOLUNTEER Approve a retroactive Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Hands on Greater Phoenix and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH), Office of Community Empowerment for the assignment of one AmeriCorps Volunteer in Service to America Member (VISTA), who will provide an in-kind volunteer service to MCDPH to support the implementation of a Community Health Workforce development training program. As a host site, the County is required to pay a $9000 service fee for a VISTA member assignment the service fee will be covered with grant funds totaling $8000.00 from the Health in Arizona Policy Initiative Grant in addition to a $1,000.00 general fund contribution from Maricopa County Department of Public Health’s Office of Community Transformation. The term of the MOA will be for one (1) year, beginning August 15, and shall terminate 12 months after the assigned start date. (C-86-21-083-X-00)
