INTERN CLINICAL TRAINING AGREEMENT WITH MAK NUTRITION SERVICES, LLC FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS DIETETIC INTERNSHIP Approve a retroactive Affiliation Agreement with MAK Nutrition Services, LLC, to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term begins February 1, 2021 through June 30, 2025. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This new agreement with MAK Nutrition Services will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by MAK Nutrition Services registered dietitians in MAK Nutrition facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial and does not affect the County general fund. (C-86-21-130-X-00)
