89. CONTRACT WITH ASIAN PACIFIC COMMUNITY IN ACTION FOR THE PURCHASE OF SERVICES RELATED TO ADVANCING HEALTH LITERACY TO ADVANCE EQUITABLE COMMUNITY RESPONSES TO COVID-19 Pursuant to MC1-346 of Maricopa County Procurement Code, authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors to execute the resulting contract under Public Health Contract #PH NOI 21021, between Maricopa County (County), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and Asian Pacific Community in Action (APCA) (“Contractor”) for services related to advancing health literacy to advance equitable community responses to COVID-19. The term of the contract is fourteen months, beginning on May 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023. The cost of the services is in a not to exceed amount of $125,884.00. The County may, at its option and with the agreement of the Contractor, renew the term of this Contract for additional terms up to a maximum of three (3) additional years, (or at the County’s sole discretion, extend the contract on a month-to-month basis for a maximum of six (6) months after expiration).
