39. AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHWEST CENTER FOR HIV/AIDS FOR DIETETIC INTERNSHIP PROGRAM Approve the Affiliation Agreement with the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS (SWCH/A) and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the Dietetic Internship Program. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from April 1, 2023 through June 30, 2032. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with SWCH/A will allow dietetic interns to continue t o receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by SWCH/A registered dietitians in SWCH/A facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial and does not affect the County gener al fund. (C-86-23-111-X-00)
