55. AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH ABRAZO COMMUNITY HEALTH FOR DIETETIC INTERNSHIP Approve the Dietetic Internship Affiliation Agreement with Vanguard Health Management, Inc. d/b/a Abrazo Community Health Network to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from April 1, 2023 through June 30, 2028. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with Abrazo will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by Abrazo registered dietitians in Abrazo facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non- financial, and does not affect the County general fund. (C-86-23-139-X-00)
