58. AFFILIATION AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO PROVIDE CLINICAL NUTRITION TRAINING EXPERIENCE Approve the Affiliation Agreement with the Arizona Department of Education to provide clinical nutrition training experience for graduate students in the dietetic internship. The agreement is non-financial, and the term is to be from November 1, 2024, through June 30, 2034. As a part of its established accredited dietetic internship program, the Department of Public Health seeks to provide its dietetic interns with a broad and diverse practicum experience. This agreement with ADE will allow dietetic interns to continue to receive approved practicum experience in clinical nutrition. Supervised by ADE registered dietitians in ADE facilities, interns would continue to be responsible to Public Health. This agreement is non-financial and does not affect the County general fund.
