56. IGA WITH ARIZONA BOARD OF REGENTS, ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY FOR AN ACADEMIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Arizona Board of Regents, acting for and on behalf of Arizona State University (ASU), and Maricopa County by and through its Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to develop The Academic Health Department. This agreement is non-financial, and the term is for a period of five (5) years from the effective date. The purpose of The Academic Health Department is to improve the preparedness of students joining the Public Health workforce as well as to continue the education of public health professionals.
