86. FY 2027 PUBLIC HEALTH FEE FUND BUDGET APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS Approve an increase in the expenditure authority in the FY 2027 Public Health (D860) Public Health Fees Fund (265) Non-Recurring Non-Project (NRNP) budget in the amount of $546,000. Approve a decrease in the expenditure authority in FY 2027 Non-Departmental (D470) Non-Departmental Grants Fund (249) Non-Recurring Non-Project (NRNP) budget in the line "Unassigned Contingency" in the amount of $546,000. This expenditure adjustment supports converting the Tuberculosis (TB) clinic exam room, #1007, located at the Public Health Clinic at 1645 E. Roosevelt St., into a certified Airborne Infection Isolation Room (AIIR). This upgrade will directly resolve current bottleneck constraints in the TB clinic workflow, increase the daily patient throughput, and ensure compliance with infection-control standards while treating active TB patients. TB Isolation Room TI Cost Breakdown: • Design team construction administration cost: $6,917.00 • Construction cost: $480,000.00 • Environmental cost: $2,500.00 • Permit fees: $3,500.00 • MC PM cost: $3,000.00 • Contingency: $50,083.00 Total: $546,000.00 The proposed increase from one to two negative-pressure isolation rooms will strengthen the TB clinic’s ability to meet current increased community demand more effectively to maintain optimal patient care and efficiency. These actions will have a net zero impact on the County-wide budget and do not alter the budget constraining the expenditures for local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
