57. ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT'S DIVISION MANAGER FOR QUALITY & COMPLIANCE AS APPLICANT'S AGENT Approve and sign the "Arizona Division of Emergency Management Designation of Applicant's Agent Form" naming the Division Manager for Quality & Compliance as Applicant Agent for the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department. The Designation Form authorizes the Division Manager for Quality & Compliance, as Applicant's Agent, to execute and file with the appropriate authorities any applications necessary for the Environmental Services Department to receive financial assistance under the Disaster Relief Act for services provided in an emergent situation. When emergency situations occur, state and federal disaster relief funds may be available to reimburse qualified expenses incurred by responding organizations. To be eligible to receive these funds, each affected organization is required to appoint an Applicant's Agent. The Applicant's Agent must have the legal authority to apply for assistance on behalf of the Applicant organization by executing a Disaster Assistance Agreement and submitting it to State or Federal authorities. These agreements outline work completion deadlines and other responsibilities of the Applicant organization necessary to receive relief funds, should the situation arise. (C-88-13-003-M-00)
