36. EXCEPTION TO THE MARICOPA COUNTY POST EMPLOYMENT HEALTH PLAN ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM Approve an exception to the Maricopa County Post Employment Health Plan Enhancement Program (PEHPEP) to allow Environmental Services to pay John Powers, an employee who retired under the PEHPEP, above the minimum of his position's market range with an effective date of January 13, 2014. Environmental Services is requesting this because an agreement has been entered between Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) and Maricopa County Environmental Services (MCDES) to define the terms and roles of MCDPH and MCDES in working together to prepare for a public health accreditation for MCDPH through the National Public Health Accreditation Board. John Powers will be rehired into a Special Projects Manager position effective January 13, 2014 at an hourly rate of $35.11, 19.83% above the minimum of the range. (C-88-14-008-M-00)
