73. MANUAL WAREWASHING SINK COMPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER VIII OF THE M ARICOPA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CODE Pursuant to A.R.S. §A.R.S. § 11-251 and A.R.S. §36-184(B)(5), set a public hearing for April 09, 2014 to solicit comments and consider the adoption of proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2013-008/Manual Warewashing Sink Compartment Requirements). This item will become effective immediately upon Board of Supervisors approval. Upon Board approval, this item will become effective April 9, 2014. The Maricopa County Board of Health (BOH) reviewed and discussed proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter VIII (ES-2013-008/Manual Warewashing Sink Compartment Requirements) at a public meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014, at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, 301 West Jefferson Avenue, 10th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. The Report to the BOH (that includes this case and others), which outlines the proposed revisions to the MCEHC, is accessible at https://www.maricopa.gov/regulations/es/pdf/meetings/012714staff.pdf. The proposed revision to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2013-008/Manual Warewashing Sink Compartment Requirements) removes the outdated allowance for a one compartment sink that was in place prior to adoption of the FDA 2009 Food Code.
