ES-2013-009/FDA FOOD CODE REFERENCE AMENDMENT PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER VIII OF THE M ARICOPA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CODE Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-251 and A.R.S. §36-184(B)(5), set a public hearing for June 11, 2014 to solicit comments and consider the adoption of proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2013-009/FDA Food Code Reference Amendment). Upon Board approval, this item will become effective June 11, 2014. The Maricopa County Board of Health (BOH) reviewed and discussed proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter VIII (ES-2013-009/FDA Food Code Reference Amendment) at a public meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 27, 2014, at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, 301 West Jefferson Avenue, 10th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. The Report to the BOH (that includes this case and others), which outlines the proposed revisions to the MCEHC, is accessible at https://www.maricopa.gov/regulations/es/pdf/meetings/012714staff.pdf. The proposed revision to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2013-009/FDA Food Code Reference Amendment) allows registered A.R.S. § 36-136 stakeholders to prepare not potentially hazardous baked and confectionary goods (goods) in a private home kitchen for commercial purposes and to offer these goods for sale in food establishments that have a valid Maricopa County Environmental Services Department permit.
