81. ES-2014-001/2013 FDA FOOD CODE ADOPTION PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER VIII OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CODE Pursuant to A.R.S. §36-184(B)(5), set a public hearing for December 10, 2014 to solicit comments and consider the adoption of proposed revisions to Maricopa County Environmental Health Code (MCEHC) Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2014-001/2013 FDA Food Code Adoption). Upon Board approval, this item will become effective December 10, 2014. The Maricopa County Board of Health (BOH) reviewed and discussed proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2014-001/2013 FDA Food Code Adoption) at a public meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014, at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, 301 West Jefferson Avenue, 10th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. The Report to the BOH (includes this and one other case), outlines proposed revisions to the MCEHC and is accessible at: http://www.maricopa.gov/regulations/es/pdf/meetings/102714staff.pdf. The proposed revision to MCEHC Chapter VIII (EROP Case ES-2014-001/2013 FDA Food Code Adoption) adopts the 2013 FDA Food Code by reference and replaces the currently adopted 2009 FDA Food Code.
