67. PROPOSED REVISIONS TO CHAPTER I OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH CODE - ES-2015-002/MICRO MARKET FEES Pursuant to A.R.S. §A.R.S. § 11-251.05, A.R.S. § 11-251.08 and A.R.S. §36-184(B)(5), set a public hearing for July 22, 2015 to solicit comments and consider the adoption of proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter I (EROP Case ES-2015-002/Micro Market Fees). Upon Board approval, this item will become effective 07/22/2015. The Maricopa County Board of Health (BOH) reviewed and discussed proposed revisions to MCEHC Chapter I (EROP Case ES-2015-002/Micro Market Fees) at a public meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015, at the Board of Supervisors Conference Room, 301 West Jefferson Avenue, 10th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona 85003. The Report to the BOH outlines proposed revisions to the MCEHC and is accessible at https://www.maricopa.gov/regulations/es/pdf/meetings/ES-2015-002_4-27-15_SR.pdf. The proposed revision to MCEHC Chapter I (EROP Case ES-2015-002/Micro Market Fees) establishes fees specific to micro market vending operations. The new fees reflect the cost for initial permitting and annual routine inspections. The changes reduce the current startup cost of up to $850 per location to $425 (or less when the business utilizes a prior approved Maricopa County Environmental Services Department Reference Plan).
