SMALL MUNICIPAL SEPARATE STORM SEWER NOTICE OF INTENT Pursuant to A.R.S. §11-251 and the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Permit AZG2016-002, the Environmental Services Department requests Board approval, including signature of the Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Notice of Intent (NOI). Approval on the NOI is required for the County to remain in compliance with the Clean Water Act, A.R.S. Title 49, Chapter 2, Article 3.1, and A.A.C Title 18, Chapter 9. The NOI contains Maricopa County Stormwater Management Plan updates and provides a summary of the existing Stormwater Program. By providing NOI signature approval, Maricopa County will continue meeting regulatory requirements to protect Waters of the U.S. within Maricopa County and to improve the quality of Stormwater runoff.
