36. DELEGATION OF A RESPONSIBLE CORPORATE OFFICER FOR THE CREATION OF A MYDEQ ACCOUNT Pursuant to Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.) § Title 40, and the Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) § Title 18, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality Department (ADEQ) requires a Responsible Corporate Officer (RCO) to sign off on the electronic myDEQ account, which is utilized to submit Annual Reports and Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) online for municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s) in accordance with A.R.S. § 11-251 and the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Permit. The Environmental Services Department (ESD) requests the Board of Supervisors to approve the Chairman of the Board as the RCO of Maricopa County to create and sign the electronic myDEQ account and to designate the Environmental Services Director (ESD) as the Delegated Responsible Office (DRO) on this account. ADEQ requires a myDEQ account be created by the RCO. Board approval for the ESD Director to be the DRO for the electronic myDEQ account will allow ESD to submit required documentation and correspond with ADEQ via this new electronic system. The ADEQ system allows for the RCO to have a Delegated Responsible Officer (DRO). (C-88-19-002-L-00)
